Georgia Changes Their Restrictions
On Legally Carrying A Pistol 

Georgia has changed their codes regarding legally carrying a pistol. These are the first major changes to their state law in the last seventy (70) years. The primary changes consist of where a person who is authorized to carry a pistol [a Georgia Firearms License or from possess a permit or license from a state that is recognized by Georgia list] may now carry it within the state of Georgia.

Here are the changes on where carry is now allowed :
  • Historic Sites,
  • Recreational Areas,
  • Restaurants that derive more than 50% of revenue from food,
  • State parks [including all publicly ownde building located in such parks],
  • Wildlife management areas,
  • Public transportation.
